The Transmutation Machine

the transmutation machineI’m always on the lookout for new ways of turning a man into a woman. Let’s face it: common tropes like the Great Shift and others like it are seriously overused—and quite frankly display a noticeable lack of imagination. (I suppose that would include the venerable Costume Gun, but I do use that one because I like its limited zone of effect: one person at a time.) Something like the infamous Medallion of Zulo could certainly have been used to carry out the transformations described in this short tale, but I wanted to avoid the standards. The technology won’t shock anybody’s socks off, but at least it’s presented in a different way. Enjoy!
