Before the Wedding

before the weddingI pretty much finished this story (click on the icon to download) a month ago, but I only just got around to doing the final edit yesterday. Not much changed; deleting a few words to improve the flow, rearranging a sentence here and there, fixing a few typos… Most people would probably never notice—but I would.

I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to writing, but I see it as my duty as an author to respect my readers by making the act of reading as smooth and painless as possible. Every time a reader encounters any sort of error—a misspelling, a typo, even extra wordage—there’s a slight but noticeable “bump” in the flow of text into one’s mind. I always appreciate it when the author (and editors) of whatever I happen to be reading took the time to remove as many bumps as they could, and I hope you do too. Enjoy!

  2. Not bad, though I think the original Alyssa’s motivation was a bit weak.
In a world of badly written and incoherent stories and captions, I really appreciate your commitment to making the reader’s experience as good as possible. That is professional.

    • Thank you. I’m glad my efforts are appreciated. True, this is a fairly standard bodyswap (via skinsuits) story, and it’s often the case that motivation is a bit thin. I think that’s often the case in wish-fulfillment stories, which most TG fiction is.

A reply would be appreciated, but is not required...
